In recent years, the authors have been dedicating their work to our new reality, modeling an artistic language that describes our path through the ashes of the present to the future landscape of faith.
The project is an episode of a great story about the environment in which a person is placed, sometimes forced. This is an invitation to look deeper into the landscape, especially the one in which our today is inscribed. We choose to stay here, here, where the landscape is not outlined, here, where everything we see and love can be instantly destroyed or changed. We must create a new space for peering into the true today.
Large-scale canvases are an action that can unfold on one square centimeter. Instead of the general picture of events, a completely different scale has been chosen – this is a look through a microscope. Life and elements are pulsating on the canvas. The texture, stopped at a certain moment, shows the movement of particles transformed under colossal pressure and temperature.
The material is the result of oxidation, it is the waste from the decay of matter, which gave its energy in favor of another future life.
The tree, which became a new object through trauma, has undergone a transformation from the end of its life to new acquired meanings.
The truth of the material is scarred by mechanical processing and left to stand on a pedestal. These forms of expression are an act of archiving the state in which we are. We try to live on with our forced acquired experience.
